§ XIII. Acceptance of Plat by Council

  • The final map or plat of a subdivision or addition to the City of Paris shall never be filed for record in the office of the county clerk until it shall have been presented to the city council of the City of Paris in regular or special session after the approval thereof by the commission, as hereinabove specified and required, for acceptance by the council of the dedication of streets, alleys, parks, easements, public places, and water and sewer lines, as shown and set forth in and upon said plat, and the city council shall authorize the mayor to accept the same in the manner prescribed in Section IV, (Subdivision 14), above, after the city council has found and determined by formal action of a majority of the Council that such proposed subdivision, addition or development, in all things complies with the terms and provisions of this ordinance and that all required improvements have been completed, or that performance bond to assure the completion thereof has been provided by the proposed developer, as required by Section XIII hereof.
